Description: Vivacious plant of basal, linear or sublinear, flat leaves. Stems of 15-18 cm. Involucral bracts of 11-17 mm, mucronate, glabrous, the external are longer ovate and cuspitate. Calyx of 4,5-5,8 mm. Pink corolla and lilacina. A. Langei has stems of 20-80 cm, lanceolate leaves and involucral middle and internal low-cut bracts.

Distribution: Its populations turn out to be tied to the serpentinic outcrop of Serra do Careón, in Melide's  and Toques’ districts (A Corunna). An appointment in Basadre's area,  district of A Golada (Pontevedra), it has not been located in the last years.

Habitat: It lives on ultrabasic substratum (serpentines, peridotites), generally in temporarily flooded soils, in Isoeto-Nanojuncetea's environments. The accompanists species are: Sedum marieanum, Sagina merinoi, Hypericum humifusum, Juncus bufonius, Exaculum pusillum, Cicendia filiformis, serpentine Plantago, Ranunculus paludosus. In some nucleuses (Toques, Barazón) the flooded period is minor and the species grows in clearances of Erica's bushes cinerea and Ulex sp., accompanied of Sagina merinoi, Plantago serpentine, Jasiane Montana, etc.
