Lights, Radios and Telephones that Misbehave

Serious researchers on the paranormal have long noted a connection between electro-magnetic fields and contact with the dead. Ghost hunters nowadays use electronic equipment to study phenomena in reportedly haunted houses. After I was widowed in 1983, a series of extraordinary events apparently related to my late husband, many of which involved lamps, elevator doors, overhead lights in public spaces, and such other electrical devices as an air conditioner, an electric fan and two hairdryers, and which were experienced not only by me but by others, converted me from a total skeptic to a believer in the reality of after-death communication. Since then I have interviewed over a hundred people who have sensed convincing contact with dead loved ones and acquaintances. Many of their experiences have involved lights, radios and other electrically operated devices that behaved in ways that seemed to defy physical laws. In my talk I will share many of their stories, told in their own words.
